Some news articles above are asking why after so long (55 years) are benzodiazepines still causing problems, such as the increased death rate.

However the answer is clear. It’s because world governments have continually allowed the drug companies, with their profit making agendas, to dominate the health industry, without putting proper regulations in place. Therefore, ultimate responsibility for this human tragedy lies squarely on the shoulders of the politicians (See: Who’s Responsible).

多くのマスコミ報道において（上で紹介した動画でさえも）、ジャーナリストやレポーターは、依存に陥った患者や個人について語る時、「乱用」、「不適切な使用」、「中毒者」などという残念な表現を用いる傾向があります。

背景を適切に捉えることもせずに、こういった言葉が、罪のない多くの人々、言い換えると、ただ医師の指示に従った普通の一般人に対して、汚名を着せることになっています（「汚名を着せるのを止めよう」参照）。

The word “disorder” is also misleading, and is overly used to justify the prescribing of these dangerous drugs; when in fact, in most cases, some anxiety and stress is a completely ‘normal’ reaction to certain life situations.
